Sailor Sandy II

Sandy

Sandy: A small change to the previous outfit. It looks a bit like an anime characters outfit. I'm not an anime or manga fan (except Stuodio Gibli). My outfits sometimes get inspiration from the same sources as some Japanese styles, sailor and school uniforms.

Hello Kitty decapitated and made into a purse

Sandy: This leather Hello Kitty bag would be fabulous with this outfit.

Wendy: It's mine.

Sandy: I said "WOULD be".

Wendy: You're awfully quiet today, Sandy...
Sandy: Shh, I'm watching the sea.

Bumble Bee

Sandy in a Daniel Clowes comic

Sandy: I'm wearing Wendys yellow top. It matches so perfectly to my fanny bag. Black and yellow are so wonderfully contrasting together. But if I had had a pare of those bee antlers on, you know those halloween headbands, I would have looked like I was wearing a costume. That's exactly what I go for: one accessorie away from a halloween costume!

I have the same top in navy blue. We try not to borrow eachothers clothes too much since it's from our clothes that people tell us apart :)

Wendy: We haven't yet worn those matching tops at the same time (at the same place). I'm not completely sure would it look ridiculous or fantastic. One thing is certain, it would definately turn heads.

Sandy: I'm reading this WONDERFUL book right now titled Wise Children. It's so funny I can't describe it! And it's about twin sisters! And their relatives that are all twins too! It's crazy. Kind of like One Hundred Years of Solitude but not as long and much less confusing (four people called Jose Arcadio plus one Arcadio and 22 people called Aureliano!).

Marie Antoinette

Sandy: So, you plan to dress like Marie Antoinette?
Wendy: Do you look like Colin Firth?
